UCL: Boniface strike helps Leverkusen seal victory over AC Milan

Bukayo Saka scored his 60th goal for Arsenal as the Gunners defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, Afrosport reports.

Kai Havertz scored the opener for the Gunners in the 20th minute after receiving a pin-point cross into the six-yard box from
Leandro Trossard .

Saka who was handed the captain’s armband for his side, scored a free-kick from out wide in 35th minute that beat PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane are the only players to have been involved in more Champions League goals than Saka since the start of last season.

Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino also made his debut after recovering from a shoulder injury while Martin Odegaard is still sidelined after suffering an ankle injury while on international duty with Norway last month.

The result was a perfect response from the Gunners after they drew 0-0 draw with Atlanta in their first match at Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy.

They will host Shakhtar Donetsk on October 22 at the Emirates Stadium while PSG welcome PSV Eindhoven on the same evening at Parc des Princes.
