Frenchman Rudi Garcia has been appointed as the head coach of the Belgian national team on Friday, Afrosport reports.
Garcia succeeds Italian Domenico Tedesco, who was sacked last week after less than two years in charge of the Red Devils.

The 60-year-old last coached Serie A side Napoli but was sacked in November 2023 after 16 games in charge, having amassed eight wins, four draws, and four losses.
Garcia has previously managed French clubs Lille, Marseille, and Lyon and also had a three-year stint at Roma. He took over at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr in 2022 but left the club by mutual consent after 10 months in charge.
Belgium, ranked eighth in the latest FIFA world rankings, faces Ukraine in the UEFA Nations League playoffs in March.
The Red Devils will then kick off their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a trip to North Macedonia in June.
