Bryan Mbeumo and Kevin Schade got the goals for Brentford in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
Mbeumo scored a penalty, while Schade’s thumping header beat Dean Henderson to lead the Bees to back-to-back away victories.

The first half was largely void of chances, with both teams failing to exert any sort of dominance, but the second half was much different, with Brentford earning a penalty 15 minutes into the period.
Mbeumo stepped up to take the spot-kick, but his effort was repelled by the post to the delight of the Palace fans. However, their celebration was cut short as VAR called for a replay due to encroachment.
The Cameroonian was tasked with retaking the penalty, and he tucked it away into the bottom right corner, sending Henderson the wrong way for his 14th goal in the Premier League this season.
Brentford got their second in the 80th minute as Schade beat the Palace goalkeeper with a powerful header from a Mikkel Damsgaard cross. The German-Nigerian took his season tally to six league goals with the Bees heading for a comfortable win.
Palace, however, made it a bit tough as 19-year-old forward Romain Esse, who joined the Eagles from Millwall in the January transfer window, scored on his debut. The Englishman tapped home from close range following a low cross from Daniel Munoz.
Mbeumo came close to restoring Brentford’s two-goal lead, but his header was denied by the post as his side held on for the win, their ninth of the season.
The result ensured Brentford improved to 31 points but remain 11th in the standings, same as Palace, who remained 12th with 27 points.
