The fixtures for the 2025-26 Premier League season have been released on Wednesday, with champions Liverpool to host Bournemouth, while Manchester United will play Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Arne Slot’s Liverpool will begin their title defence at Anfield on Friday, 15 August, while United and Arsenal will lock horns two days later.
Meanwhile, newly promoted Sunderland, who return to the top flight for the first time since 2016-17, will kickstart their campaign at home against West Ham on Saturday, 16 August.
Aston Villa will welcome Newcastle United to St. James’ Park; Brighton and Hove Albion will lock horns with Fulham at the Amex Stadium; and the City Ground will host its first game of the game when Nottingham Forest tackle Brentford.
Leeds United, Championship winners, will host Everton at Elland Road on Monday night, while Tottenham will host Burnley in Thomas Frank’s first match in charge.
Manchester City and Pep Guardiola will look to begin the new season on the right note with a visit to Molineux against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the cards.
UEFA Conference League winners Chelsea will begin their campaign with a London derby at Stamford Bridge against Crystal Palace.
The 2025-26 campaign will come to an end on Sunday, 24 May, with the season consisting of 380 games over 33 weekends and five midweek rounds.
During the festive period, clubs will not be asked to play twice in less than 60 hours.
