Victor Osimhen scored on his return from injury in Galatasaray’s 3-0 win away at Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward missed the Istanbul giants last two competitive games due to a muscle injury. He also missed the Super Eagles’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
He started Saturday’s game from the bench and Gala were able to go 2-0 up thanks to Mauro Icardi’s brace in either half.
Osimhen came on for Yunus Akgun in the 78th minute and put the ball in the back of the net just two minutes later but it was ruled out for offside by VAR.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year was however not going to be denied his third goal in Galatasaray colours with an audacious bicycle kick in added time.
