Osimhen not thinking about future after winning Turkish Super Lig with Galatasaray

Glasner not focused on Europa League qualification after Crystal Palace FA Cup win

Victor Osimhen says he is not thinking about his future after helping Galatasaray to a landmark 25th Turkish Super Lig title on Sunday, Afrosport reports.

The Super Eagles forward scored the first goal as the Istanbul giants thumped Kayserispor 3-0 to maintain an eight-point lead over fierce city rivals Fenerbahce with two games left to play.

Osimhen’s future has been a hot topic in recent times as his loan deal with Galatasaray comes to an end after the 2024-25 season.

His parent club, Napoli, will be looking to sell him off this summer, with some clubs such as Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea, reportedly interested in signing him.

The 26-year-old is, however, focused on enjoying his double triumph of the Turkish Cup and Super Lig at the moment.

“I feel very happy. It is incredible to take part in Galatasaray’s history and reach the fifth star,” he told the club website.

“We have two matches left. We will look to have fun. I am enjoying the moment at the moment. I am not thinking about my future.”

Osimhen has scored 25 goals in the league and 36 in all competitions, making him the highest-scoring foreign player in a single season in the history of the Turkish top flight.
