Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen found the back of the net twice as Serie A leaders Napoli cruised to a 4-0 win over Torino to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Osimhen kicked on from where he left off in the Partenopei’s midweek triumph in the Champions League with an early goal inside the first ten minutes, rising highest to head in Piotr Zielinski’s corner kick.

Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled Napoli’s lead in the 35th minute from the penalty spot, converting the spot kick he won initially, as they take a 2-0 win into the halftime break.
Osimhen got his second of the game and his 21st goal in Serie A this campaign with an acrobatic header from a cross from Mathias Olivera just six minutes after the restart. The 24-year-old became just the fourth player since Aurelio DeLaurentiis took over as Napoli’s owner to score atleast 20 league goals, joining Edinson Cavani, Gonzalo Higuain and Dries Mertens.
20 – Victor Osimhen has now scored 20 league goals this season, becoming the fourth Napoli’s player in the De Laurentiis era to have scored 20+ goals in a single Serie A campaign, after Cavani, Higuaín and Mertens. Olympus.#SerieA #TorinoNapoli pic.twitter.com/qSJfOFs59t

Substitute Tanguy Ndombele sealed an emphatic victory for the Luciano Spaletti’s men with a well-taken strike after being on for just about three minutes. The French midfielder finished off a sweeping one-time pass from Kvaratskhelia, who got his 12th assist in the league.
Napoli’s victory took their points tally to 71 this season, the most they have ever had after 27 league games. They also extend their lead at the top to 21 points over Inter Milan in second place.
