Andre Onana has promised there is more to come from him after impressing in Manchester United’s 2-0 Premier League win over Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The Cameroon goalkeeper has come under scrutiny since arriving from Ajax last summer for making errors which have cost the Red Devils crucial points and results.
Onana has however made notable saves in recent games including six saves against the Toffees which kept their hopes for making the top four mathematically possible.
He has kept eight clean sheets which is the joint-second highest in the Premier League this season, and owes it to the United defence improving.

“That means we are good at defending. The defenders, midfielders, strikers are sacrificing for the team and that’s what we work for, so I’m very happy with these numbers,” Onana told MUTV“.
“There’s more to come, much more. It took me seven months to feel good in Manchester, so first of all, I’m very happy for the support of everybody because it was a tough time.
“In the beginning, when I arrived here, I received a lot of support from the fans, my teammates and the club. Now I’m better and I’m very happy.
“You will see much more from me, trust me. Hopefully in the coming years, we’ll fight for big things. Hopefully we get top four this season because it’s very important we get Champions League.”
Onana will be hoping to have more heroic displays as Man United face Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals next Sunday.
