Joachim Andersen has praised Michael Olise after scoring his 10th league goal of the season in Crystal Palace’s 3-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze scored the rest to hand Palace their fifth win in their last five top-flight games while Naouirou Ahamada was sent off for two bookable offences.
For Olise, it is the first time in his career he has reached double digits in the league and Andersen believes the 22-year-old would have scored more goals had he not been injured this term.
No celebration needed.

“Imagine if he played all 37 games! Then he would have scored 20-25 goals if he was playing like this. He’s a crazy player and we’re lucky to have him, and hopefully he will score again next weekend,” the Danish centre-back told the club website.
Andersen, who has played every league game this season for Palace, then joked that it had taken a toil on him.
“Yeah, I can feel it in my legs – also at the end of the game! I was a little bit tired, I just wanted the referee’s whistle!,” he added.
“It’s been a long season. Now, one more [game] to go and then a little break and then we have the Euros, so we need to be ready for that as well.”
Palace’s victory moved them two places up to 12th spot on the table and are just two points away from the top 10.
