The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has announced a 43-man provisional squad for the 2024 Africa Cup XVs (repechage), scheduled to take place in Tunisia from December 16 to 23, 2024, Afrosport reports.
The tournament promises to provide more opportunities for homegrown talent and will mark the return of Onoru-Oyiza Jatto, a center with Cowrie RFC, who missed the last sevens tournament.
The provisional squad released on Monday comprises 14 foreign-based players and 29 home-based players, and the NRFF revealed that the squad will begin training camp in Abuja on December 10 before departing for Tunisia five days later.
