Enyimba returned to winning ways in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Monday following a 1-0 victory over Lobi Stars at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, Afrosport reports.
Ifeanyi Ihemekwele scored the only goal of the game five minutes before the halftime break, with the forward notching his fifth goal of the season.
The People’s Elephants won for the first time in four games, and the victory propelled them into eighth in the NPFL standings, while Lobi, winless in five games, are 19th on 21 points.

Elsewhere, holders Rangers defeated Ikorodu City 2-0 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu to end their two-game winless run thanks to goals from Godwin Obaje and Isaac Saviour.
In Benin, Bendel Insurance recorded a 1-0 win over Katsina United courtesy of Julius Emiloju’s 26th-minute strike at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, with the Benin Arsenals increasing their unbeaten streak to seven games.
Meanwhile, at the Kwara State Sports Complex, Wasiu Alalade and Wasiu Jimoh scored in each half to lead Kwara United to a 2-0 win against El-Kanemi Warriors, for their fifth consecutive home victory in the league.
