Sunshine Stars have unveiled Kennedy Boboye as manager for the second time following the dismissal of Edith Agoye.
Boboye was previously in charge of Akure outfit in 2015, leading them to a sixth place finish.
He returns to the Ondo State capital having managed at Abia Warriors, Plateau United, Remo Stars, Akwa United and Heartland since his first departure, winning the league with Plateau.
Boboye returns to Akure with Sunshine in 14th spot on the table, just one point away from the relegation zone, and says he is ready to bring back the desired results.
“I’m glad I’m back home. Sunshine stars remain in my heart,” Boboye told club media.
“With God and the collective support of everyone we shall succeed and achieve the desired results.”
Boboye was unveiled alongside members of the coaching crew which includes Kayode Julius (chief coach), Nwachukwu Ifeanyi (assistant coach) and John Gaadi (Goalkeeper trainer).

Also unveiled was Godfrey Oboabona. The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner was previously on the books of Sunshine before going on to play for Rizespor in Turkey, Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, Croatian side Gorica and Dinamo Batumi in Georgia.
