Super Eagles forward Umar Sadiq has won the La Liga Goal of the Month award for March, Afrosport reports.
The Valencia striker won the award with his sublime backheel goal in their 3-3 draw at Osasuna on 2 March.
Sadiq beat Rayo Vallecano defender Andrei Ratiu and Leganes forward to win the accolade.

The 28-year-old scored a brace against Osasuna as well as Valencia’s winner in a 2-1 home win against Real Valladolid, finishing the month of March with three goals in three league appearances.
Sadiq is still up for the La Liga Player of the Month award, where he will battle the likes of Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe, Real Betis midfielder Isco, Celta Vigo defender Marco Alonso and Rayo Vallecano star Pedro Diaz for laurel
He has scored five goals in eight league appearances since joining Valencia in the January transfer window.
