La Liga giants Sevilla have completed the signing of Akor Adams from French outfit Montpellier on a four-and-a-half-year deal, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward moves to the capital city of Andalusia having scored three times and provided three assists in 16 Ligue 1 games this season.
The season prior, the 24-year-old found the back of the 10 times in 32 competitive games as Montpellier finished 12th, 11 points clear of the drop zone.
This season has however been a different story for the 2012 French champions as they currently sit second from bottom, three points shy of safety.
The move to Sevilla offers a fresh start for Akor Adams as he will be the third Nigerian in the books of the seven-time Europa League champions alongside Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke.
It will represent the fourth professional club for the Jamba FA graduate after featuring for Sogndal and Lillestrom in Norway.
