NFF reviews club registration fees for 2023 FA Cup

The Nigeria Football Federation has reviewed the registration fees initially set for the 2023 Federation Cup.

In a circular sent out earlier this week, the nation’s football governing body announced that male teams will pay a sum of N120,000 while their female counterparts will pay N100,000 to participate in the domestic tournament.

However, it took a twist with the NFF reviewing the fees downwards, and have removed the sum of N50,000 from the fees expected from the two teams.

Interested men’s clubs are now expected to pay N70,000 while the women’s clubs are to pay N50,000.

The breakdown of the fixtures remain the same barring any changes and payments are still required to be made at the federation office in Abuja.

The acting Director of Competitions for the federation, Ruth David, established this new development to the NFF Board with the hope of encouraging many more clubs to participate in the tournament in both the men’s and women’s categories.
