The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without forward Julius Randle for at least two weeks due to a groin injury he sustained last week, Afrosport reports.
The Timberwolves announced that an MRI revealed Randle has a right adductor strain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which will keep him sidelined at least through the All-Star break.
The 30-year-old picked up the injury during Minnesota’s commanding win at Utah Jazz last Thursday, departing the game early in the second quarter with just six points after 10 minutes of action.
Randle is expected to miss at least eight games, and he adds to the team’s injury list, which has guard Donte DiVincenzo, who is out because of a big toe injury and will be re-evaluated during the All-Star break.
