The NBA have announced the date for the commencement of the 2023 NBA All-Star voting.
The voting will tip off on December 20 and end on January 21, giving basketball fans the opportunity to vote for their preferred 2023 NBA All-Star Game starters.
The 72nd NBA All-Star Game will take place in February 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Beginning on Christmas Day, fans will be given a six-day period where their votes will count three times.
Fans’ votes will account for 50 per cent of the total votes in selecting the NBA All-Star Game starters, while current NBA players and media panels will account for 25 per cent each.
After all the votes are tallied, players will be ranked in each conference by positions within the three voting groups (fan votes, player votes, and media votes) while fan voting will serve as the tie-breaker for players in the same position group with the same score.
