Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri scored a hat-trick in Sevilla’s 5-0 thrashing of Linares Deportivo in a Copa del Rey match at the Estadio de Linarejos on Wednesday night.
The encounter was En-Nesyri’s second club game after a historic outing with the Atlas Lions at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 25-year-old scored a brace within 40 minutes of the match and he sealed the match ball in the 74th minute.
In the 17 games played this season, the lanky striker has found the back of the net five times.
At the World Cup in Qatar, En-Nesyri was one of Morocco’s best players with his tally of two goals.
He helped the Atlas Lions top their World Cup group and also to a fourth-place finish, the highest of any African team ever at the quadrennial tournament.
