Los Angeles FC have signed Jeremy Ebobisse on free transfer, tying him down to a three-year contract with the option of an additional year, Afrosport reports.
The 27-year-old joined as a free agent from the San Jose Earthquakes where he spent three-and-a-half seasons, scoring 34 goals and providing 10 assists in 100 MLS regular season appearances.
Speaking on his signing, LAFC co-president and general manager John Thorrington said on the club website: “Jeremy is a proven forward in our league who has scored goals and been a meaningful contributor to his teams throughout his career.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Jeremy to strengthen our attack as we continue in our ambitions to compete for multiple trophies in 2025. We know Jeremy will be a great addition to LAFC on and off the field.”

Ebobisse was selected as the No. 4 pick in the 2017 MLS Super Draft by the Portland Timbers and was a key player from the get go, scoring 26 goals and providing eight assists in 88 regular season matches.
He helped lead the Timbers to the 2018 MLS Cup but they lost 2-0 to Atlanta United.
He however helped the Timbers win the 2020 MLS is Back Tournament, scoring four goals and providing one assist in seven games which earned him a place in the tournament Best XI.
Ebobisse has earned one senior cap for the United States in a friendly with Panama back in January 2019. He is however still eligible to play for Cameroon by virtue of his parents country of origin or France where he was born.
