Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte on a permanent transfer from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, Afrosport reports.
The Red Devils reportedly agreed a deal worth €50 million plus €10 million add-ons with PSG for the midfielder, who is expected to travel to Manchester for his medical before finalising the move.
United had agreed on personal terms with Ugarte in July, with the South American said to be their number one midfield target in the summer transfer window.

Ugarte started his career in Uruguay with Fenix in 2016, before securing a move to Portugal with Famalicao. In August 2021, he joined Sporting Lisbon on a five-year deal worth around €6.5 million.
After spending two years with the Primera Liga club, Ugarte secured a big money move to PSG in June 2023 after the French club triggered his €60 million release clause, winning three trophies, including Ligue 1 and Coupe de France.
This summer, Ugarte represented Uruguay at the Copa America, where they finished third after beating Canada on penalties in the third-place playoffs. He was, however, named to the team of the tournament following a string of impressive performances.
The Uruguayan’s impending move to Old Trafford will take United’s summer business to five players following the arrivals of centre-backs Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt, full-back Noussair Mazraoui, and Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee.
