Manchester United have confirmed Marcus Rashford will be unavailable for a few games after picking up a muscle injury in last Saturday’s Premier League win over Everton.
Rashford is consequently ruled out of the Red Devils’ UEFA Europa League clash against Sevilla on Thursday.
However, the club confirmed that the 25-year-old who has scored 15 Premier League goals so far this season, will definitely return to action before the end of the season.
The England star was replaced in the 80th minute of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday.
He has been in blistering form for the Old Trafford outfit this campaign, with a tally of 28 goals across all competitions, which makes Wednesday’s update a worry for coach Erik ten Hag and the club faithful.
After Thursday’s game, he will be expected to sit out the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Manchester United are fourth in the Premier League table, level on 56 points with third-placed Newcastle United after 29 matches so far.
