Lazio have completed the permanent transfer of Nuno Tavares from Premier League outfit Arsenal, Afrosport reports.
The Biancocelesti signed the Portuguese left-back of Cape Verdean heritage on loan for the 2024-25 season, and made 30 appearances in all competitions, providing nine assists.
The Rome club have now secured his services permanently on a four-year deal until June 2029.
“SS Lazio announces that it has permanently signed the footballer Nuno Albertino Varela Tavares, from Arsenal FC. The footballer has signed an employment contract until 30 June 2029,” read a club statement.
According to Goal.com, the permanent transfer of Tavares is expected to cost Lazio €5 million with Arsenal retaining a percentage of any future sale.

Tavares joined the Gunners from Benfica in the summer of 2021 but was unable to nail a regular playing spot and ending up having loan spells at Olympique Marseille, Nottingham Forest and Lazio for the next three seasons.
He will play under the direction of coach Maurio Sarri, who replaced Marco Baroni, and returns to the Stadio Olimpico after resigning 14 months ago.
