Jorginho and Kieran Tierney are among 20 players to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, the club announced on Wednesday.
The list includes players from both the men’s and women’s teams as well as the academy, with all named parties to depart the Emirates Stadium when their current contracts expire on 30 June.
Italy international joined Arsenal in January 2023 from London rivals Chelsea in a deal worth £12 million and has two goals and three assists in 79 appearances.
The 33-year-old midfielder played 27 times for the Gunners in 2024-25 and is set to join Brazilian side Flamengo.
Tierney, meanwhile, secured a move to the Emirates in August 2019 for a reported fee of £25m from Celtic. Despite being troubled with injuries, he’s made 144 appearances for the north London club, scoring six goals and providing 14 assists.
The Scotland international Tierney spent the 2023-24 season on loan at La Liga club Real Sociedad and is set for a return to boyhood club Celtic this summer, having previously made 170 appearances for the Scottish champions.
Arsenal also named England international Raheem Sterling to the list, with the forward returning to Stamford Bridge following a season-long loan from Chelsea, having scored once in 28 matches for the Gunners.
“We thank all the players leaving us for their contributions to the club,” a statement from the club said. “You will always be part of the Arsenal family and we wish you all the best of health and happiness in your futures.”
Meanwhile, Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey and England international Chloe Kelly, whose contracts will also expire on 30 June, are currently undergoing renewal talks with the club.
