Monza have parted ways with Alessandro Nesta as the club’s manager and replaced him immediately with Salvatore Bocchetti, Afrosport reports.
Ex-Italy international Nesta was relieved of his duties after Sunday’s 2-1 Serie A home loss to Juventus which has left them rooted to the bottom of the table with just 10 points after 17 games.
“AC Monza announce that Alessandro Nesta has been relieved of his duties as coach of the first team,” read the statement on X.
“The club thanks the coach for his efforts and wishes him the best for the future.”

The 38-year-old Bocchetti has little managerial experience, with only a short stint as caretaker with Hellas Verona being his only senior role, while others have been youth coaches and assistant coaches with the same club.
