The draws for the Super Six playoff tournament were conducted by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Nigeria Premier Football League on Friday in Lagos.
Also, the IMC announced a new name and unveiled a new logo for the Nigerian top division. The interim committee revealed that the league would now be referred to as the Nigeria Premier League instead of the Nigeria Premier Football League, which it adopted at the beginning of the season.
The Super Six competition features the top six teams in the NPFL, three from Group A and the other three from Group B.
Eight-time NPFL champions Enyimba will face Ogun-based Remo Stars in the opening game of the Super Six playoffs.
Bendel Insurance, who finished atop Group A of the abridged lead, will take on Lobi Stars, while defending champions Rivers United will battle Sunshine Stars.
