Denis Bouanga put in a brilliant performance as he scored a brace and provided an assist in Los Angeles FC’s 4-0 win over the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.
The Gabon international was fresh from netting a hat-trick in LAFC’s 3-0 bashing of Costa Rica’s Alajuelense in the CONCACAF Champions League in midweek and picked up from there at the Banc of California Stadium on Sunday, netting a penalty in the 14th minute.
The former St. Etienne man completed his brace in the 67th minute with a cool finish before Timothy Tillman made it 3-0 for the reigning MLS Cup champions.
Bouanga turned to provider for Stipe Buik who netted the fourth in added time.

The victory maintains LAFC’s 100 per cent start to the season with three wins from three games in all competitions while Bouanga has recorded five goals in just two matches.
He has already bettered his tally of three goals in 10 matches after arriving from Saint-Etienne towards the end of the 2022 MLS regular season which Los Angeles FC were crowned as Supporters Shield winners.
