A community in France, Vigneu-sur-Seine is set to name a football stadium after Borussia Dortmund’s Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller.
28-year-old Haller started his football career in the community club, Club Olympique de Vigne as a youth player between 2003 and 2005, before leaving for Auxerre.
A video by the Mayor of Vigneux-sur-Siene, Thomas Chazal confirmed that the inauguration of the Sebastien Haller Stadium will take place on Saturday, June 24.

Haller recovered from testicular cancer in January and he scored nine goals in 19 league matches as Borussia Dortmund narrowly missed out on the Bundesliga title.
He played for France youth teams from the U16 to U21 level before committing his international future with the Ivory Coast in 2020.
