Federation Cup 2024: Organisers reveal date and fees for registration of clubs

NFF release list of officials for Federation Cup final

The registration process for the prestigious Federation Cup is set to begin on Tuesday, October 24, in both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The interested clubs are expected to be registered with the Football Associations (FA) of their respective states across the 36 states of the country, along with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the organizers, a N150,000 fee has been fixed as the registration fee for teams in the men’s tournament, while clubs gunning for spots on the women’s side are to pay a sum of N100,000. A fee of N200,000 and N120,000 has been revealed as the price for late registration in the men’s and women’s tournaments, respectively.

The registration period is expected to be a one-month process, after which the state FAs will proceed by submitting the completed players’ licenses to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for production.

This production process is slated to take place between December 1 and 8, just before the kickoff of the state competition scheduled to take place from January 20 to February 25, 2024.

According to the organizers, after the state tournament ends, each of the 36 state FAs as well as the FCT FA will be expected to provide the NFF with the names of their two representatives on February 26, 2024, for the national competition.
