Alpine will use Mercedes power units and gearboxes when the new era of Formula 1 engine regulations commence in 2026, Afrosport reports.
The agreement which is multi-year, will run through the duration of the engine regulations between 2026 and 2030.
Parent company, Renault announced in September that it will end its F1 engine programme at the end of the 2025 season and will now take up the spot of Aston Martin who are switching to Honda power in 2026.
