All 10 Formula 1 (F1) teams have been valued above $1 billion in 2024, Afrosport reports.
The sport is enjoying one of its biggest financial periods since the takeover by Liberty Media in 2017 thanks to an increase in making it more accessible through initiatives such as the Netflix ‘Drive to Survive’ series.
The F1 calendar has also grown to 24 races which has exposed the sport to more partnerships with major brands.
The enforcement of the cost cap which currently stands at $135 million has levelled the playing field across the grid and made teams more financially viable.
According to Sportico, Ferrari leads the way as the most valuable F1 team at $4.78 billion followed by Mercedes ($3.94 billion), Red Bull Racing ($3.5 billion), McLaren ($2.65 billion) and Aston Martin ($2.07 billion). Haas sits bottom of the table at $1.02 billion
