Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of defender Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth in a deal worth €66 million, Afrosport reports.
PSG will pay an initial €63m plus €3m in performance-related add-ons, and the 22-year-old has penned a five-year deal until 2030.
Zabarnyi, who is the club’s first-ever Ukrainian player, becomes the second summer arrival at Parc des Princes after French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.
“I’m very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain, the best club in the world, with the best project,” said PSG’s new No. 6. “I am here to give everything I have on the pitch and I’m looking forward to making my debut and meeting the fans.”
PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, added: “We’re delighted to continue the strengthening of our squad with the signature of Illia Zabarnyi. Illia is a talented international player and a great professional. He will make a major contribution to everything that we are building long-term at Paris Saint-Germain.”

The Ukraine international joined Bournemouth from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023 and made 86 appearances for the Cherries. He starred in his first season at the Vitality Stadium and was voted 2023-24 Supporters’ Player of the Season.
Zabarnyi made his international debut in October 2020 and has since earned 49 caps, scoring three goals.
He is the third major defensive sale by Bournemouth this transfer window, following the departures of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the Cherries have agreed a deal to sign French centre-back Bafode Diakite in a £34m deal from Lille.
