Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Enyimba have completed the signing of striker Clinton Jephta from Niger Tornadoes, Afrosport reports.
The 19-year-old, who has put to paper, joins the People’s Elephants after scoring eight goals and providing three assists for Tornadoes in the NPFL last season.
🚨Deception won’t win the game, but Jeptha Clinton will! 😏

Japhet was initially on the verge of joining reigning champions Enugu Rangers. However, having agreed to join the Yemi Olanrewaju-led Enyimba as well as his registration on the Transfer Matching System (TMS), which fastens the transfer of international players, the forward will be defending the colours of the Aba giants next season.
He becomes the club’s 11th signing of the summer after the acquisitions of Ismail Sarki, Ufere Chinedu, Kalu Nweke, Moses Adukwu, Ani Chigozie, Asibe Nathaniel, Abubakar Zalli, Wasiu Jimoh, Odinaka Francis, and Austin Onyemaechi.
Enyimba will also compete in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they have been drawn to face Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso in the second preliminary round.
They are scheduled to get their NPFL season underway on Saturday, September 7, against newly promoted Beyond Limits Football Academy at the Remo Stadium in Ikene, Ogun State.
