President of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o was filmed attacking a fan after an altercation following the completion of the World Cup game between Brazil and South Korea in Qatar.
The 41-year-old was captured on camera in a physical altercation with an Algerian YouTuber outside the Stadium 974.
Several fans approached the former Cameroon international after the game, asking for pictures, which he happily obliged.
However, the ex-Barcelona and Inter Milan star lost his cool when a fan held a camera to his face.
The video showed the four-time African Footballer of the Year reacting angrily and he lunged towards the fan before finally kicking him to the ground.
Algerian journalist Maher Mezahi, who witnessed the incident, clarified that the supporter might have made a reference to the World Cup qualifying match between Algeria and Cameroon held in March this year.
Eto’o was in attendance when Cameroon crashed out of the group stage despite their 1-0 defeat of Brazil, becoming the first African team to defeat the Selecao at the World Cup.
