Bayern Munich have been handed a major boost as German midfielder Jamal Musiala and France international Dayot Upamecano have both returned to training after missing the international break due to injuries, Afrosport reports.
Musiala, 21, missed Bayern’s 3-3 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt as well as Germany’s matches against Bosnia and the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League due to a hip injury, while 25-year-old Upamecano missed France’s game against Israel and Belgium as a result of a muscle injury.
Bayern, on Tuesday, released a statement regarding the return of the two players, stating that they are both back in individual training and are “closing in on a comeback”

The Bavarians would be glad to have Musiala and Upamecano back in action as they prepare to face eighth-placed VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, before heading to Spain to take on Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, October 23.
After six league games into the season, Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga standings, thanks to a better goal difference than RB Leipzig.
