Premier League heavyweights Manchester United announced on Tuesday the jersey number to be worn by Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat following his loan transfer from Serie A side Fiorentina on deadline day.
The 20-time English champions revealed that the former Utrecht midfielder will don the No. 4 jersey, most recently won by former defender Phil Jones, who left the club this summer following the expiration of his contract after 12 years with the club.

Other notable ex-United players who won the jersey include former England international Owen Hargreaves, who wore it for four seasons; the Argentina pair of Juan Sebastian Veron and Gabriel Heinze; and legendary captain Steve Bruce, who first donned the number for the Red Devils in the 1993/94 season and was succeeded by David May.
Amrabat reunited with Erik Ten Hag, who was his boss during his time in the Netherlands with Utrecht, and he was one of the four players brought in on transfer deadline day along with Altay Bayindir, Jonny Evans, and Spanish full back Sergio Reguilon.
