Real Sociedad forward Umar Sadiq has finally arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Abidjan ahead of their final two matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda, Afrosport reports.
The 27-year-old reportedly missed his flight to the Ivorian capital on Tuesday, but his arrival finally takes the Super Eagles camp to maximum capacity.
This means all the 23 players invited by interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen are present in Abidjan.
Sadiq will be part of the team’s training session on Wednesday night, their final one before the big clash against Benin on Thursday.
The Super Eagles will take on the Cheetahs in their Penultimate match in the AFCON qualifiers at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny at 7pm local time (8pm Nigeria Time).
The three-time African champions will then lock horns against the Amavubi o Rwanda four days later on Monday, November 18, at the infamous Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo at 5pm local time.
