Liverpool defender Conor Bradley faces a prolonged absence after sustaining a severe knee injury during the goalless draw against Arsenal in the Premier League last Thursday, Afrosport reports.
The 22-year-old was stretchered off in North London after collapsing while clearing a loose ball. He will undergo surgery in the coming days for bone and ligament damage, though scans confirmed no anterior cruciate ligament tear.
Liverpool in a statement said: “Conor Bradley has sustained a significant knee injury… Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and then begin a period of rehabilitation… No timeframe is being placed on his return.”
The incident was overshadowed by Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, who, in a desperate bid to resume play, aggressively shoved the injured Bradley and threw the ball at him.

This infuriated the Liverpool squad and medical team, sparking a confrontation involving Ibrahima Konate and Alexis Mac Allister. The Brazilian forward apologised for his actions after the match.
