Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche on Monday announced a 27-man provisional squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe in September, Afrosport reports.
The 57-year-old Algerian has included three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders and nine forwards, with the list expected to be trimmed down in the coming days.
Regulars such as Fiacre Ntwari, Innocent Nshuti, Ange Mutsinzi and captain Bizimana Djihad are among those included in the squad.
Others include defenders Fitina Omborenga and Thierry Manzi, midfielders Bonheur Mugisha and Kevin Muhire, and forwards Jojea Kwizera and Gilbert Mugisha.

The Amavubi are scheduled to depart Rwanda for Nigeria on Wednesday, 3 September, ahead of their clash with the Super Eagles on Saturday, 6 September, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Following that encounter, Rwanda will return home to host the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Amrouche’s side currently sit second in Group C with eight points from six matches, while Nigeria occupy fourth place on seven points. Zimbabwe are bottom of the group with four points.
