The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Monday said it is aware of the incident that occurred during the CAF Confederation Cup match between Senegalese club ASC Jaraaf and USM Alger on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
According to reports, the ultra fans of Algers used smoke bombs to disrupt the game, as well as destroy seats at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Dakar, where both teams played out a goalless draw.

The away fans were reportedly involved in a fight with the Senegalese police, causing injuries to fans and facility damages.
CAF, however, added that the matter has been referred to its competent bodies for further investigation.
