Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka, forward Tari Eason, and center Alperen Sengun have been fined $50,000, $35,000, and $15,000, respectively, for misconduct during their loss to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.
Joe Dumars, the NBA’s Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, announced the sanctions on Thursday.
Udoka, who was ejected in the Rockets’ defeat at Golden 1 Center, has been fined $50,000 for confronting and directing profane language toward a game official, failing to leave the court in a timely manner, and public criticism of the officiating during his postgame press conference.
Eason, on the other hand, has been fined $35,000 for throwing a towel and directing inappropriate language in the direction of a fan in the spectator stands after the game had concluded.
Sengun, however, has been fined $15,000 for directing inappropriate language toward a game official.
Udoka and Sengun were both handed technical fouls and ejected with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of their 120-111 loss to the Kings.
The Rockets (15-8) suffered their second straight defeat following Thursday night’s loss to the Golden State Warriors and will head to the Intuit Dome to take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
