The injury list at Real Madrid continues to grow as French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has sustained a hamstring injury during their 2-0 loss at Liverpool in Wednesday’s Champions League action, Afrosport reports.
Real Madrid announced on Thursday that Camavinga, who also sustained a knee injury in September, has suffered a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg.
“After the tests carried out today on Eduardo Camavinga by the club’s medical department, the player has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg,” a statement from Real Madrid read. “His progress will be monitored.”

Camavinga was forced off the pitch in the 57th minute at Anfield, and the 22-year-old France international was replaced by Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos.
Although there is no valid return date for him yet, he is expected to miss about two to three weeks with his impending absence adding to a growing list of absentees for Los Blancos.
The Spanish champions have lost three of their last five matches in all competitions, and they currently sit 24th in the Champions League standings, occupying the final qualifying spot for the knockout phase with six points.
Los Blancos will host Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday in La Liga, where they are second, four points behind league leaders Barcelona, having played a game less.
