Salah drops hint on contract situation with Liverpool

Mbappe believes he’s finding his rhythm once more at Real Madrid

Mohamed Salah has revealed he might be close to the exit door following the uncertainty of his future at the club, Afrosport reports.

The Egyptian international’s contract is up in the summer and he is disappointed as he has not received any contract extension proposal from the Reds yet.

This comes off the back of netting a brace in Liverpool’s 3-2 win away at Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday and became only the third Reds player after Ian Rush and Roger Hunt to score 100 competitive goals away from Anfield.

Speaking to NBC Sports, the Egyptian said: “We are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in.

“You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future.”

However, the 32-year-old is easily the fans favourite at the club as his exit would not bid them well.

“I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or the fans’ hands. Let’s wait and see.” Salah concluded.

Liverpool are currently eight points clear of rivals Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings and will host reigning European champions Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
