AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Togo lists 25 players in squad to face Liberia, Equatorial Guinea

Togo’s national team head coach, Dare Nibombe, has announced a 25-man squad for their upcoming matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Liberia and Equatorial Guinea, Afrosport reports.

Nibombe’s squad contains three goalkeepers, eight defenders and eight midfielders, as well as six attackers.

Malcolm Barcola, Mahadihou Sama, and Achirafou Yaya are the invited shot-stoppers, while Gustave Akuesson, Dakonam Djene, Kevin Boma, and Sadik Fofana are among the invited defenders.

Meanwhile, the midfield comprises Evra Agbagno, Roger Aholou, and Khaled Narey, with Yaw Annor, Kevin Denkey, and Kodjo Laba being some of the invited forwards.

The Sparrowhawks will initially face Liberia on Wednesday, November 13, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia, before playing host to Equatorial Guinea at Stade de Kegue in Lome on Monday, November 17.

Togo sits third in Group E with just two points from four games, and they must secure all maximum points in their final two matches in the qualifiers to have any chance of reaching next year’s finals in Morocco.
