Igbokwe has signed a two-year deal that will keep him at Estadio dos Arcos until 2026.
The 22-year-old was part of Nigeria’s last Under -23 team under coach Salisu Yusuf.
He spent the last four years at Gent, where he won the Belgian Under-21 cup in the 2022-23 season.
In the season under review, the Right2Win Sports Club product scored 12 goals and bagged eight assists for Jong Gent.

Nicknamed “Little Magician”, the pacy, skilful and energetic footballer, can play anywhere upfront and can also function as a creative midfielder.
He’s expected to be an integral part of coach Luis Freire’s team in the coming season.
