Zambia joined the Super Falcons in qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday night after coming back from a first leg deficit against Morocco to win 2-0.
The Copper Queens lost the first leg on home soil 2-1 but turned their fortunes around on Moroccan thanks to Barbra Banda’s 38th minute strike which levelled the tie 2-2 on aggregate.
The game went into extra time and Orlando Pride star Banda was there again to convert, this time from the penalty spot for a 3-2 aggregate victory.
