Nigeria and Cameroon will face off in the third and penultimate round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.
The first-leg of the encounter will take place at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala on Friday, February 23 while the return fixture will take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Monday, February 26.

The ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is at stake in the all-important encounter between Nigeria and Cameroon.
The world football governing body, FIFA allocated just two tickets to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the women’s football event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The winner of the match between Nigeria and Cameroon will take on the winner of the fixture between Tanzania and South Africa in the fourth and final qualifying round.
The other ticket is up for grabs between the winner of Ghana vs Zambia and Tunisia vs Morocco.
Nigeria and Cameroon at the Olympics
The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have only made an appearance at the Olympics which came in 2012 but they failed to advance beyond the group stage as they lost all their matches in the tournament.
The Super Falcons, however, have made three appearances in the women’s football event at the Olympics – 2000, 2004 and 2008.
They have missed the last three editions (2012, 2016 and 2020) and their best finish at the Olympics was in Athens 2004 when they reached the quarter-final stage.
Nigeria vs Cameroon head-to-head record
The most recent match between the Super Falcons and the Indomitable Lionesses was in the quarter-final of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and it ended 1-0 in favour of Nigeria.
Nigeria stand out as the most dominant side in the head-to-head record with six wins in 10 previous games while Cameroon have won just three games so far and the only draw between the two teams came at the 2018 WAFCON which was a goalless draw.
