Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen landed in Bouake on Tuesday morning and took part in the training session at the Stade de la Paix in the evening ahead of Wednesday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final with South Africa.
The Napoli star did not travel with the team when they departed Abidjan on Monday owing to abdominal discomfort.
He stayed behind in the Ivorian commercial capital under medical supervision and was however deemed fit to travel to join with the rest of the squad on Tuesday.
This puts the 25-year-old in contention to start his sixth straight match in the Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles have previously faced South Africa at AFCON three times, winning each tie by and aggregate 8-1.
Jose Peseiro’s men will be aiming to reach the final for the first time since 2013 when they lifted their third AFCON title in Johannesburg.
