The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially rescheduled the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Ghana and Sudan, Afrosport reports.
The matches, originally slated for October 11 and 14, 2024, will now be held on Thursday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 15.
Sudan currently sits in second position in Group F, having recorded a convincing victory over Madagascar and a draw against Mozambique. The Falcons of Jediane are aiming to secure their place in the tournament, bolstered by a mix of experienced players and emerging talents.
On the other hand, Ghana has faced challenges in their qualifying campaign and are struggling to find consistency. The Black Stars have managed only one point from their opening two matches, which has put pressure on them to perform against Sudan. They will be looking to capitalise on any opportunity and secure vital points to improve their standing in the group.
