Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglu has affirmed that the club is ready to support Richarlison with the psychological help that he needs.
The Brazilian forward revealed while on international duty that the past five months have been turbulent for him off the pitch and says he needs to see a psychologist to strengthen his mind.
Postecoglu explained it was necessary for Richarlison to seek help because footballers are humans and do not live a life of perfection.
“Whatever Richy needs, we will help him get to the space he wants to get to,” the Australian tactician said ahead of Spurs’ Premier League clash with newly-promoted Sheffield United this weekend.
“He put it out there because he was quite emotional after the game and we will give him support he needs, but we do for all players.
“What I will say is no one has a perfect life. People think footballers do things well and have all the money they need but it does not make them immune from life.”
