Burkina Faso confirm route & schedule for Tour du Faso 2023

Burkina Faso has announced the route for Tour du Faso 2023 that will begin from October 26 to November 5.

The 34th edition of Burkina’s foremost cycling competition will feature 10 stages across seven regions that will cover a total distance of 1207.8 kilometres.

The Tour du Faso is returning this year after the 2022 edition was cancelled out due security reasons after the military coup that took place in the country.

The event is listed in the 2023 UCI Africa Tour and German cyclist Daniel Bichlmann won the won Tour du Faso in 2021.

Stage 1: Ouagadougou – Po (125 km); Stage 2: Manga – Ziniare (135 km); Stage 3: Ouaga – Ouaga (5.2 km x 28 laps); Stage 4: Ouagadougou – Koupela (135 km); Stage 5: Tenkodogo – Zorgho (78 km); Stage 6: Ouaga – Koudougou (115 km); Stage 7: Koudougou – Boromo (153 km); Stage 8: Bobo – Bobo (10.2 km x 13 laps); Stage 9: Bobo-Dioulasso – PA (125 km); Stage 10: Sapone – Ouagadougou (115 km plus a closed circuit of 5.1 km x 15).
